Leaving Shoes at Work

Question: How many of you leave a pair of shoes at work? Reference, I have a 45 commute to work via public transportation with some decent outdoor walking involved. At the point I've invested in several pairs of Allen Edmonds but continuously run through pairs (quicker than most I'd assume) largely due to commuting the streets in a major hub. Started keeping two pairs: one brown, one black at work. Change pairs when I get to the office in the morning.

Anyone else do anything similar? This was passed on from my manager about a year ago.

Controversial

New Balance and All Birds have to stop. If you're going to wear sneakers, get yourself a nice pair of Common Projects. God knows you've been eyeing up a Rolex you probably can't afford.

Op, this wasn't specifically targeted at you. More so the clowns that have zero taste.

$400 for some knock-off hideous Converse. Lmao. Do you get your fashion advice from Reddit?

Unpopular opinion based on the previous comments coming up - Sneakers and brown shoes with suits are awful (sneakers to look at as they don't compliment the suit, and brown shoes are fine to look at with a grey or blue suit, but they have no place in town)

Unless you have problems with your feet, I don't see how your dress shoes can be that uncomfortable that you'd rather wear sneakers. But, everyone is free to wear what they want, I won't lose sleep over it..

(30min walking commute myself, dress shoes everyday)

Lol, I didn't even know what the fuck common projects is until I came across this thread. Is this the shitty trend the pretentious young professionals are riding these days? These shoes are fucking nasty and like someone said above, they basically are replicas of converse. They may be slightly more comfortable but doesn't warrant a $400 price tag. Damn morons and their strong irrational will to be unique and stand out from others. Hey douchebag, maybe new balance shoes are played out because they are in fact fucking comfortable and practicable at a reasonable price. No need to reinvent the wheel here and think you have taste because you chose to be irrationally different.
