Intern Dress Code
For my IBD internship this summer, is there a dress code I should follow?
I like suits so am gonna pick some up but am thinking wearing a 3 piece and getting one with peak lapels. Also for shoes gonna pick up some gucci or ferragamo sleds cause fuck it lmao.
Will it hurt my chances of getting a return offer if I do these things?
Ask your team what's appropriate (some junior). We were told by our buddy, explicitly, that ties were not necessary, so I didn't wear one until the day of my final presentation. Personally, I'm turned off by flashy-flashy "look at my Gucci, look at my this, look at my that", but that's just me.
