I have never used a case for the last ~11-12 yrs I had a smartphone as I always like the feel of the phone without the case. Only in the last year have I gotten fucked with my iPhone screen getting the cracks after dropping it - NOT EVEN WHEN I'M DRUNK - and am in a position where I seriously need to drop my cavalier attitude around no case lol. I now recognize that it's all luck which protected me in all my caseless years.

I have this for my X, from Amazon, slick but not weak, I have a strong screen protector though and I don’t mind the exposed icon, camera and screen should still be well protected because there’s a few mm of space that extends out:

Something made of alligator skin or ur fired obviously
Rhinoshield has some good solid bumper cases that also have clear backing if you’d like a full case too
My expectation wasn’t very high getting a bumper, I just wanted something minimal. however it’s actually really sturdy, protects the phone well
