is british tan okay?

Want to get these shoes, but not sure if british tan is too light. There is also dark brown available on amazon, but that color looks dark red instead of brown, so i'm not sure

I respect the price sensitivity, Orbans and Meermin are only slightly more expensive and honestly the difference in quality is miles away better than Cole Haan's. Meermin's are considered to be the same or better quality than Allen Edmonds but at half the price. Additionally, both Orbans and Meermin captoe oxfords look a lot more formal and professional than these CH's. I would strongly urge you to make the investment in these, for spending just 30-40% more you can get shoes that will last years longer and look better while doing so.
