Light blue tie for interview

Hi guys,

Just wondering is a light blue tie okay for an interview (actually a presentation).

I will be wearing it with a white shirt and charcoal gray suit.

This tie here is a similiar colour http://www.tiesplanet.com/index.asp?function=PROD…

Do it. I rocked one just a bit darker than that from Brooks with a black suit (cue monty with "oh, the horror!") and powder blue shirt and pulled offers in like money. Agreed that it's soothing, if you look into the psychology of colors, blue tends to signify purity or sincerity and stability, even loyalty.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
