London - shirts for slim and short men

Hi, I'm looking to find shirts that fit me in London without going for made to measure.

I've started with Charles Tyrwhitt and TM Lewin. Neither quite works without getting alterations, so I figured I may as well look a bit broader. CT needs darts, TM Lewin is a bit better and only needs sleeves shortening (but the quality of shirts/collars don't seem as good).

What's a good grade up in terms of price? Or am I best off just getting alterations done on CT shirts?

I think what you're looking for are called "ladies shirts".

In all seriousness though, why do you care about getting alterations done? Most decent stores will do it for free.

Please would you give me an example of a decent store where it's done for free?
