I'm looking to pick up a two to three good quality and reasonably priced suits. Not looking to buy entry level suits, but also don't want to overpay solely for a name brand (e.g. BB). I don't need anything super flashy but want to find trim suits that fit well. Brooks Brothers is currently offering two for $1699. Any suggestions on good alternatives?

I love BB suits, they fit rather well. The slight premium in price is worth it

So you're looking to pay around $850 per suit? I would suggest Mr. Ned MTM for that budget.
I was in a similar situation a few years ago. For me, I just graduated MBA with a fair amount of student debt so I needed some solid suits but within a reasonable budget. I would recommend looking at the following brands: Jack Victor, Hart Schaffner Marx, and Joseph Abboud. They all make a decent mid-tier suit for a good price.
