Four in hand for most ties, half windsor if the tie is particularly slim. Most importantly I would focus on getting the dimple right, that's what makes all the difference between a good knot and an average one imho

agreed. when it works, it works. You ain't Reggie Browne though. Half windsor. Even the Nasdaq index guys rock that with their suits & dress sneakers.  Also, this isn't prep school any more Blake, (god what a prep school name) grow up.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
