Mullet and Moustache Combo
Recently been noticing more and more dudes rocking the modern mullet/moustache combo out at bars and think I could pull this look off. I met some women that said they are into this rugged look as there's musicians and actors in 2025 sporting this style as well. Obviously facial hair is very team-dependent, but when it comes to mullets, its a controversial hairstyle that can be viewed negatively in NYC. Most MDs are also Gen-X though that possibly rocked full on mullets in their college days, and might even think its cool. It is likely frowned upon by older millennials though. What are your thoughts?

Even I would take someone in IB less seriously if they had a mullet, and I know I’m not the only one in my age group (mid to late 20s). I know it’s stupid but if you don’t look the part some people will ultimately think you don’t belong. I have friends sporting a mullet but they’re big4 or non-finance. That being said it’s team and performance dependent. If you’re good, you’re good.
