New Member Here — Excited to Join WSO Community for Guidance

Hey everyone,

I’m new to WSO and just wanted to drop in with a quick introduction. I’ve been interested in finance, corporate careers, and everything this community seems to cover for a while now — from reading salary guides, interview insights, to career-path advice. WSO’s reputation as a helpful, no-BS forum for finance professionals and aspiring folks made me decide this was the right place to “come learn and ask.”

I’m currently exploring paths in  corporate finance and other areas you’re interested in, trying to figure out best next steps and what’s realistic coming from my background.

I joined hoping to learn from experienced people here — whether it’s about breaking into the industry, prepping for interviews, building financial modeling skills, or understanding how real-world finance careers evolve. I’m also up for helping out others with my perspective or questions along the way.

If anyone has suggestions on which threads or forums would be good for someone in my situation to browse first — or any advice on how to maximize learning on WSO — I’d love to hear.

Looking forward to connecting and learning with everyone.
