Old School: Does Anyone Wear Garters?

One of my biggest pet peeves is slouching socks and having to constantly pull them up. I'm pretty lean so this happens all the time to me and annoying as hell (I guess everyone has their little things.) Would it be odd to rock garters/Do a good amount of people still wear them?

To all the confused posters, it's a guy.

Guys in the military generally use shirt stays which clip from their shirt to their socks. Most civilians don't, but that's okay, this is your thing. They are generally to keep their shirt in, but I imagine the straight stays or Y-Clip Dress Stays will work if they are tight enough they would do the same for your socks.

Alternatively, buy better quality dress socks with a decent elastic in them. I am not sure, but a little bit of baby powder of your legs may remove the sheen and moisture which may contribute to them slipping also.

Any particular product with good elastic you guys can recommend?

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.
