mfoste1i hope youre not planning on wearing these to work
Why do you say that?
because theyre "weekend watches". I mean what are you going to be doing at work? scuba diving? fighting a marlin? flying your plane? My advice would be to go with something more conservative/minimalist, with a leather band.
I sold my Omega for a newer model last year and could not be happier.. Think I paid $2600 and well spent in my eyes... I almost got a Rolex for 5x more but happy with my Omega
Omega 100%. Also agree with Military, I like speedmasters a little more, they look more refined. Omegas are definitely ok for office btw, don't listen to the fag that wears burberry

I actually do not own a burberry watch. I posted that link as an example, you dumb cunt. Most people on this forum are fashion followers who have absolutely no sense of fashion autonomy. There are certainly more ways to "fit in" at work regarding your attire, instead of everyone just looking like Wall St. douchebag robots.
^The quartz ones are, you are right. Having said that, I think every man should wear an automatic or manual movement (unless for sports, etc). No reason to pay $1200 for a watch that probably runs on a $3 taiwanese chip and a mechanism that's simpler than my nephew's Lego .
I bought my automatic Seamaster for 1200 bucks. I also bought my manual Speedmaster for about 3500 bucks so that is where I am getting the 2K difference from.
I would personally limit yourself to about 1-2K for a watch when you start out. Get an automatic or else you will be laughed at by anyone who knows anything about watches. The Speedmaster is great, but you need to manually wind the watch. Hesalite scratches also, while the crystal on the seamaster will not.
if you want a Constellation, quartz, let me know. I am willing to sell it.

Omega.
omega, make sure to get an automatic if you can afford it because a quartz at that threshold makes no sense
Omega for sure.

Omega and Breitling a weekend watch? Yeah right. You can 100% wear them to work.

Speedmaster is also about 2K more than the seamaster
