Pricing for Brooks Brothers MTM?

Does anyone have any guidance on Brooks Brothers MTM pricing? I want to re-do my closet of the button downs I have and the ones that I consistently like the most and fit me best are BB. The problem is that I have pretty long arms and the sleeves on BB are not nearly long enough. So my MTM requirements would basically be a standard BB button down with longer sleeves, that's it. So I don't know if the tradeoff for that and the MTM pricing makes sense.

I used to wear BB MTM. I bought them only during sales. Twice a year, I think. Cost was same as regular price for ready to wear. MTM is perfect if you like their basic shirt but just want it to fit better. I had them add a vertical stitch to shirt pocket to keep my glasses from falling out.

They have sales on MTM?!?! That's surprising to hear, most companies don't offer that. And yes, what you described is exactly what I'm looking for - I like their shirts overall, just want it to fit slightly better. I'll have to keep an eye out for those MTM sales.

Would this not be the same as when Tom James does trunk shows/sales?

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

"GoingToBeAnMD" Who or what is a “Tom James”?

Tom James is a custom suit maker everything from MTM to bespoke (as well as many other products for sale). They charge a decent penny for their work but twice a year they have trunk shows-sales which you can select some really nice fabrics at fairly big discounts.

You had to buy five shirts to get sale price. BB offers lots of very expensive fabrics which they would then turn into shirt that was exactly like their off the rack shirts but with much better fit and incredible fabrics from Italy. Salesman told me men would order 10-15 shirts at a time because they liked wearing BB shirts with some over the top super luxurious cotton.

I just wanted a better fit mainly so I always picked standard BB fabrics.
