PSA: Allbirds make you look like a massive dork

I don’t care how comfortable they are — whenever I see someone wearing Allbirds in or outside of the office I automatically assume they’re a huge dweeb who got bullied in high school. Either wear real quality leather sneakers or keep your dress shoes on, and throw those wool pieces of crap in the garbage. Thx.

I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but I actually think it's being a massive dork that makes you look like a massive dork.  Living through most of the finance fashion trends over the past 10 years (e.g. Barbour jackets, patagonia, deal sleds, Canada goose, now Arcteryx, etc.) has led me to this conclusion.

These are all objectively cool brands that make a fashionable product but high finance is inundated with sunken chest nerd followers who run these brands into the ground.  My point is that massive dorks who have money, but no style, wear these brands because they see others wearing them, but ultimately end up looking like massive dorks in trendy clothing.

Idk man, this probably makes no sense, but it sounded so good in my head.
