Watches in IB

Starting as an analyst 1 at a BB next year and wanted to offer myself a watch for all the hard work to get there. I don’t want to stand out or have people assuming I come from a wealthy background but also want a nice timepiece. What would be the maximum price range?

Who cares. If you can afford and want a very expensive watch just don’t wear it to work. Plenty of people use their most expensive watches only on the weekends. Depends on the culture at your bank as well.
