I am due to start my first corporate job in a few months once I have graduated and I am looking for a briefcase that is suitable for a 23 year old but is still professional. Also, what do people actually carry in their briefcases I don't want to feel like I am walking round with nothing but a wallet and a macbook!

I typically just carry work papers, laptop, notepad, wallet, and an HP 12c. Go for something light in a nice shade of brown!

Carrying briefcase in todays world dosen't looks good. Intead carry some trnedy office bag, in which you can carry all your work related things.
A tape deck, some Creedence tapes, and there was my briefcase.
