I would try not to use hair gel, in the strictest sense, as much as possible. Its just not a good look to have lots of shiny, clumpy spikes all over your head. The more natural it looks, the better. What are you trying to achieve? I use Crew products, they work very well and are made with natural ingredients that will actually help your hair to be healthy and not just dry the shit out of it. Do you have long or short hair?

So do I. If you're looking for something with strong hold, I would recommend something that is marketed as a paste, wax, or fiber (like Crew). It will hold very well, look very natural, and will be pretty resilient to any abuse you might be likely to put it through during the day. Also, you will be able to mess around with it and get the look just right. Best of all, you won't look like Pauly D's protege.

Stole it from my girlfriend, think it's for women? I dont know but it works real well. You spray it on and it's like you went to the beach and you can get the nice flow going instead of a dry poof head.

American Crew Pomade, I use it everyday and its awesome not too greasy and only use a dime sized dollop. Its about 17.00 a can, and to give you an example of its power, its the same shit that the stylist for the show Mad Men uses on the male actors.
I hope this is better than the last batch of shit you gave me. Produced more wood than Ron Jeremy. I don't want you to yell, "Reco!" anymore. Know what you should yell? "Timber!" Yeah, Mr. Fuckin' wood.

Currently I am using Osco drug 'Styling Gel' and maxim antiperspirant for my sweating issue. Go with stopsweat, com for more information about maxim antiperspirant.
You cannot cheap out on hair products, they absolutely do make a difference. Go for a light/medium paste or wax that you can easily readjust throughout the day. American Crew has good stuff. I personally like Aveda but it's a bit pricey.

I use: http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-detail/CVS-Styling-Gel-Sport-Action-Hol… It's dirt cheap and really works well. I don't have much hair so I am not sure how it works with more hair.
I can make you some.
people still use gel?

I have medium to long length hair.

Ur just lucky ur hair looks good without gel, not everyone who uses gel uses it for clumpy wet looking spikes. You dont know what your talking about.

Advice from a woman: Try l'oreal or some wax spray. Its better than normal hair gel, the spray is much easier;)

Candle wax, aka Murray's Pomade... unless you're a "Dapper Dan man". (SB for the person to guess the movie)

IMO japanese wax brand GATSBY is the best.
