I would say to stick to toe caps. They are easy and go with everything. Allen Edmonds Park Avenue are my shoe of choice. If you take care of them they’ll last too. Just my two cents.
Makes you look like someone’s grandfather.
I'm OK with this shoe selection. Just make sure that you pick a really, really good, quality brand. The downside to this style of shoe is that if you go cheap on them, they start to look like they are cheap really quickly. If you can't afford to go high end at all, that's OK, pick another style because those styles will be easier to keep better looking for a longer period.
