Automatically creating hyperlinks in threads...
I can't be the only one who things this function is extremely annoying. I don't mind that links magically appear in a post, though I have yet to actually click one, but it's extremely annoying that when I try to quote or edit a post, actual HTML links appear in the code, which makes reading the actual content a huge PITA. The same thing happens when we mouse over a thread link to preview what it's about - especially annoying here as they usually take up the entire preview window.
So I'm not suggesting remove the effect, but is there any way to remove it from the previews and edit/quote post windows?
agree the kwyword link module needs some cleanup - we had to rebuild it from scratch because of performance issues and are still working through some of the main issues...namely, not having it in links.
Whether or not we can have it removed from the previews may prove to be much harder, but we can try...
