Bloomberg Functions

Hi Monkeys,

I was just wondering what are some key functions to know when using the Bloomberg terminal and what are some shortcuts to know when analyzing various sectors, equities, FICC, etc.

I tried looking at past threads for this but there isn't any relevant information. Thanks in advance!

Related question: is there a way to learn Bloomberg if I’m neither on-campus nor had experience using it over the summer? Starting FT soon. Or will I just have to learn it afterhours at the desk?

Just go to the Corporate Finance Institute website, and under the CMSA programme they have a free course on Bloomberg Terminal.

Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth that what feels as though a burden pushing down upon their shoulders is really a sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don’t think. Become.”
