BMO Capital Markets - Summer Analyst - Final Round Interview Advice
Hey guys,
I was invited for my Final round interview at BMO Capital Markets for a summer analyst role. Apparently its 3 back-to-back interviews, then a cocktail reception.
Was hoping if anyone knows what kind of questions I should expect? and how I should go about preparing?
Thanks
I did this last year. 28th floor and then reception on 68th (looking at the email right now). From what I can remember it was very highly technical. Think of it as an ib interview. I told them I wanted to do options and they pulled out option trading strategies and I got blown out of the water.
Jheez, any idea on what I should be looking at if I want to go into Fixed Income?
I'm not FI but I would bust open the textbook and start memorizing lol. If I remember correctly, I had 2 30 minute interviews for round 1. Even though they said 1 was "fit" and 1 was technical, I felt like both were really "fit". IMO, they checked the box for if you'd be a good personality and if you have any idea of what's happening globally in the first interview (Congrats on that!). Now it's "are you on the level you need to be?". If not (like me) then you're dinged quickly.
