I mean, I get that it's to prevent spamming, great, but I totally agree. So obnoxious.
I wouldn't mind them so much if I could ever read them...but I guess that defeats the purpose. catch 22 eh?
Are the CAPTCHAs after posts or topics? I can't see them as a mod, but I would imagine that after every post would be a little annoying. I have to delete topics that are spam sometimes, but the posts are not as many/as annoying
lol ironically after posting this I had to delete 2 posts and block 2 users. That said, idk how much spam would increase if the CAPTCHA was removed for posts. I wist there was a way for the spam filter to work better, since Patrick had so many problems with tht before. Hopefully there is away to rectify the spam filter, but I have no idea how tht works. Maybe make the CAPTCHA appear to only people with less than x amount of bannana points? Until then, you may just have to deal with it.

Why don't you just make CAPTCHA for people who have less than 1 post? If there is a spam bot posting on the site, then it'll just block all the accounts trying to post with 0 posts... If the case is with a person, then CAPTCHA would be useless anyway.
btw idk if it is even possible to say like all chimps have CAPTCHAs, but tht with a spam filer would work the best, but the spam filters were annoying as hell supposedly too, so i don't know what Patrick can do until/if an acceptable spam filter is constructed. (If you understand that stream of consciousness rant)
