I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tabs under the Forum Topics and Hot Topics on the right side of the page don't link to the corresponding threads anymore. Maybe it's just me, but I started noticing this a day or 2 ago.

yeah, I noticed that as well.
yeah, it's been 2 or 3 days now
hey guys, this change was made in order to reduce the # of links on every page and improve our SEO. You can still easily see these hot topics, etc by clicking "click to Read" on those side blocks.
We have also combined the Top WSO Members and Active Members blocks, as well as the Silver Banana and Solied Monkeys blocks....you can get to the specific user pages just by clicking the "more" links on all these blocks.
This is all in an effort to reduce the # of links per page and help our SEO efforts to keep WSO growing. We have some software that has warned us that we had WAY too many links on every page, and those side blocks were the main culprit.
Hopefully clicking those links is not too much of a hassle.

I don't know about others, but my main method for browsing WSO is clicking the "Active" tab and seeing if anything interesting is there, and this creates an extra click in the process, which means waiting for an extra page to load, etc. I know this is pretty minor but quite an annoyance to be honest. Now rather than reading random stuff, I pretty much just wait until the interesting discussions get to the hot topics, and only read those. Maybe I am the only one who used the active tab for 90% of browsing - surprised others aren't as irritated.
Dr. Joe, you do realize that clicking Recent in the primary nav bar shows you all the latest threads / updated content as well, yes?
What if we just had it so when you clicked on the tabs it loaded the Active forum topics view so you only had to click once?
