FX Platform

I use RCG Onyx2 for FUT...the key is that it never goes down. I know that they have a spot site. Don't use Openecry - it always goes down. Infinity Fut - I don't like either. IBKR is bad imo. A buddy of mine uses Oanda...try to give that a whirl...I haven't heard him complain about that...plus their charts are really good for spot.

For personal trading I suggest using Oanda for actual trading. They execution is excellent and they make very fair markets. They also have great tools for analysis, news, and backtesting. However, their charts IMO are second-class. I strongly suggest signing up for demo accounts at InterbankFX and downloading their Metatrader platform for the charting capabilities. MT is easily the most robust and easy to use charting platform. Plus you can code up your own analytics like custom indicators, alerts once rates hit certain levels etc.

Thanks GLGCTrader and mrr2. I've heard of Oanda and the reviews are not too bad as well.. and yup same goes to interbankFX but i think you need quite a sum to open up an account with them..
