The thread locking is getting overboard. I know a lot of the threads are pointless, but lets not resort to excessive censorship.

Indeed you guys are pretty much taking off / locking everything that does not have to do with a specific focus
1) If a thread is discussing something off topic, it is being moved to the "Monkeying Around" forum, so the main board can be free of clutter.
2) If a thread has fulfilled its original purpose and/or it devolves into name calling or personal attacks, it is being locked by one of us.
In the past quite a few of our more experienced members have expressed that they would like to see more moderation in order to have the forum fulfill its original purpose of facilitating discussion among bankers and prospectives, and keep the signal to noise ratio at a tolerable level.
