Less is more

So much data, info, knowledge, wisdom shared on WSO over the years (decades). I keep reading the same themes, over and over.

Just a thought, but might not one “solution” be shutting down WSO (the live part), and making a database/dictionary/encyclopedia of the whole enterprise? Updated once every 3 years or so?

I am not sure how this helps.

IP addresses are easy to work around. Finding alternatives to the word "prestige" is also easy.

One of the things I think about is the value of the CFA and CAIA, when hundreds of millions of individuals in the "Global South" can be trained, quite easily, I might add, to pass the exams and obtain the formal designations. / As this trend accelerates, what's potentially of value/differentiation is *private information* [HBR, Dec/2005, "How To Build Your Network"]

Do you have a CFA Charter?

No, but I have hired (and continue to interview and/or hire) individuals that do have the CFA and/or CAIA charters. I also interview/hire individuals that do not have either.
