Monsoon Analytics, anyone familiar with this outfit and their market research reports/datastreams?

Hey there fellow primates,

My director has tasked me with finding out more about MA.

https://monsoonanalytics.io/our-story/

I’ve looked at the site, pulled their Pitchbook profile and Capital IQ profile. I’ve emailed them for a couple of sample reports along with what sort of pricing they do, whether enterprise-wide or piecemeal.

Had a chat with one of the co-founders earlier today to get a sense of their sector coverage, how far back the data goes, how granular are they, who do they see as their competitors and their M.O. re: how and why they do what they do the way they do it. It's a very young company, having only commercialized their current business model some 24 months ago. He'll be sending along an info packet and we’ll be doing a trial of them eventually.

But I’m curious to see if anyone's firm is currently using them and/or if you'd had any direct experiences with them, good, bad or otherwise.

I'm always happy and open to hearing positive and/or negative anecdotes about products and services from my fellow tree-climbers, thanks for reading and thanks in advance!

I.D.
