Spring Weeks on CV

I am a penultimate year student in the UK, and I did some springs last year, now that I have gotten some real experience, I don’t really have space for the spring weeks under “work experience” and they aren’t even real experience, but of course I still want to have them on my CV, where do people usually put them at this stage?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, as a penultimate-year student with real work experience, it's common to move Spring Weeks out of the "Work Experience" section and into a separate section like "Additional Experience" or "Leadership & Activities." This allows you to highlight the Spring Weeks without taking up valuable space in the main work experience section.

Here’s how you can structure it:

  1. Additional Experience: Create a section specifically for experiences like Spring Weeks. Briefly list the firms, dates, and key takeaways or skills gained.

  2. Education Section: If space is tight, you can include a single line under your university details, e.g., "Completed Spring Insight Programs at [Firm A], [Firm B], and [Firm C]."

  3. Skills or Achievements Section: If the Spring Weeks contributed to specific skills or certifications, you can reference them here.

This approach keeps your CV concise while still showcasing the value of your Spring Week experiences.
