Stop making it the default to use your Facebook profile

From what I recall, WSO's signup process either makes it the default or at least heavily encourages you to link your Facebook, use your Facebook profile picture (I believe that using Facebook Connect has WSO automatically importing your profile picture), and use your real name as your username.

This is a terrible idea for a site whose value comes from learning the "insider" perspective on finance jobs - like on compensation, interviewer stories, etc. You need semi-anonymity for that. This is why we get threads like this about once a month: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/big-3-consulting-drug-test

Even I used the Facebook connect feature when I first signed up, and I had lurked for months before creating an account and knew that WSO was an anonymous-identity type of forum. I was horrified when I saw that there was a picture of me in my thread about a sensitive recruiting-related question.

If you look through your data on 1) how many people actually use this signup feature, 2) how many of those people don't quickly change their pictures, and 3) what the comparative retention rates are for those people who use it, I think you'll find that the numbers confirm that you should get rid of this feature.
