User bar on top
Is there any way to hide the user bar on top (the one with user name, banana points etc) without, obviously, logging out?

You can post threads/blog posts anonymously, but I don't think you can be anon for regular posts.

Yes, that's possible. But before that, let me add one point- your userbar will be limited only to you and as such every users will see their own userbar with their account name in it.
Now, to hide it, in top left, you'll see a blue upper arrow button. Clicking on it will hide that userbar.
