WTF are these ads on WSO?

Hey WSO Mods,

Yes, I am sympathetic toward the various wars/poverty/etc going on in the world, but what's with the full blown video ad showing me locked up starving (and possibly dead) children in some politically themed video on WSO of all places. Are they really paying that much?

If this gets me MS, then it is what it is, but I'm just trying to browse threads about industry news. Not to mention some of the other advertisements are somewhat not safe for work content too with the partial nudity.
