You HAVE to stop that annoying pop up on the lower left of screen. I know it's intention is to sell more premium items, but this is an abomination. I'm sure there was time/money spent on developing that, but it needs to go.
It can't have value more than once or twice. It'll make people aware of the offerings (although there has to be better ways to advertise), but then beyond that it'll either be ignore or annoy the fuck out of everyone.
Also, although the chance of doxxing is very low, it seems very odd to be showing names and location of people purchasing on a site that has value driven by anonymity.

While I agree with how annoying it can become, the solution is simple:

Agreed. Also can’t stand the new mobile layout - I liked when I could see the “new” comments on the right hand of the screen. Have definitely used WSO less since this update
the "new" comment links are now back on MOBILE for the following views:
Should have them on most of the Trending and Best views by end of day and all of them by early next week.

There’s also an issue of not being able to see how many new replies there have been to threads that I’ve read before when browsing through the ‘All Recent Content’ screen, at least on mobile.

THANK YOU guys for your honest feedback...I think there are a few issues highlighted in this thread.
1) Bottom left Pop-ups -- something changed where they just started showing up way too frequently and were annoying. We've now removed them so that they only show up on product and service landing pages for now (if you still see them, could take a while because of cache)...in other words, these will stop annoying you because effectively they are gone except for 1% of the pageviews on site.
2) New Replies on Mobile -- this is my fault. In the new change over to the cleaner forum container design -- we lost a lot of the title and then in an attempt to get title length back up to normal, x new was removed (along with a bunch of other bugs that were fixed just yesterday). This will be remedied but it may take until end of day tomorrow (apologies BBDreamin and poppinbottleS ) @leadlefttackle2013" I assume this is what you mean by shitty new layout and site functionalilty? We haven't had any other major changes recently...
Any further ideas/suggestions welcome!
