Guggenheim say you must receive your bachelors degree in summer 2025 in order to apply. If I’m a final year student is it possible they let me slide by saying I’m doing a MiF after graduating? I’m not expecting a return offer so I’m in a bit of an awkward position with a bad job market + final year student. Going for SA again as I’ve been told trying for FT would be a mistake.

I'd recommend going for Off-cycle when you graduate, I've been going to a few insight programmes and HR has really pushed it as an alternative

I’ve tried researching off cycle but everything about it is so confusing, application deadlines like when is it to late to apply? when do you start? how many seats are available vs SA seats? etc. I plan to apply to a couple off cycles and not just re apply to summer analysts programmes again but the lack of info on off cycles makes me reluctant to apply.

Visa issues. I’m a UK student interning at one of the US offices of an NYC LMM firm. I’m gonna be working in the US but the company has offices in my home country so i’ll be technically an employee from my country’s office visiting the us team for my entire internship. I broke in via networking and its a small firm with under 500 employees so I had to get creative to make sure I landed an internship after striking out with on cycle interviews. Unfortunately they don’t have a offices in the UK and getting a US visa is a pain in the ass. I could still get a return offer and pray for getting a visa approval but I rather focus on what I can control.

how long did it take you to receive a pymetrics invitation ? I can see they looked at my profile in linkedin but idk if I got dinged.

Those can be networked past. Had most unique for liking risk lol. Not good for Buyout!

Interesting, they asked us to choose our division for SA apps. They also had a choice between co-investment and direct investment teams, which led me to ask wether they really do any direct deals

What is the application process for GIC? Is there a hirevue immediately after test? I did not hear back after test.

Could anyone let me know which firms give instant tests post-CV submitting?

I'm looking to get to grips with these tests (i'm in a gap year)

Had this happen for SW but not this year, I think they might scan CV/written questions for key words or something.

First wave of TIs were given out today, apparently. And lots of people got rejected immediately after the tests as well. I haven’t heard back so fingers crossed they have more waves of TIs lined up.

Did the Online Immersive Assessment on Thursday and just got the Job Simulation, if it helps

Not yet but did for SW last year, go to their prep portal you can see the type of questions they ask for the video/written stuff
