Akuna Capital Option 201 course april 2025 intake

Hello everyone,

Two weeks ago I applied for the April 2025 intake of the Option 201 course after completing Option 101.

I was wondering if anybody already heard back from them? Is the selection process for 201 rough? I know that if you perform better than your peers in the 201 course you can get fast tracked to a final round interview with Akuna, but I was wondering how difficult it is to get admitted into 201 in the first place?

If anybody has insights to share with me I would be very grateful!

Thanks

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Akuna Capital offers courses like Option 201 that can fast-track participants to final round interviews for roles such as Trader or Trader Intern. From the insights shared, the selection process for these programs is quite competitive. Akuna Capital is known for being selective, with many participants having strong, sometimes "insane" backgrounds in trading or market-making.

For Option 201, admission likely depends on your performance in Option 101 and how you compare to other applicants. Since the program is designed to identify top talent, excelling in Option 101 and demonstrating institutional-level knowledge or skills in trading could improve your chances.

If you're aiming to stand out, focus on refining your trading knowledge and skills, as well as showcasing any relevant experience or achievements. Getting into 201 is ridiculously easy. Idk anyone who’s been rejected as long as they applied and did the tests before deadlines. Getting fast tracked to final is pretty tough though - I think it must exist but honestly don’t know anyone who got fast tracked. Most people don’t show up to every lecture either so that might be why
