Alua Capital?

Does anyone have any news on them?
L/S equity SM opened in 2020 by CIO/PMs from Viking and Lone Pine, seems to have raised $2.5bn AUM. I only see a few employees on LinkedIn and they just recently appeared to have added a website.

How has their performance been? Are they hiring/do they use HH?

seems like a fund that wants to stay under the radar. Paul enright (also ex-Viking) speaks highly of tom in his recent interview with capital allocators. you should check it out.

Thanks for the link. I know nothing about him or what Viking is really like as I’m not even in the L/S equity world, but he really comes off as someone I’d like to work for in the way he carries himself. Very even-keeled to the point of monotone, but the content of his message is clearly sharp and seems like someone who values talented people working for him. Too many times HF managers are so bombastic and all about “me, me, me”, stating opinions as facts all the time, just not humble. He comes off as one of the rare good ones here.
