Any HFs that would take an off-cycle intern?

Does anyone know any HFs that would take an off-cycle intern this semester? Preferably paid, but also would take unpaid if there are significant learning opportunities. Looking to network into a remote, part-time position

It's rare for HFs to take off-cycle interns but it does happen occasionally (usually depends on location, luck, and/or network. Check handshake and LinkedIn constantly).

I don't think I've ever seen a remote off-cycle internship for HFs but those opportunities definitely exist for small PE firms (plenty are listed on LinkedIn).

I wouldn't limit yourself to just HFs but also consider small AMs that are structured similar to HFs but aren't exactly HFs due to their LO mandate. Experience is experience.

Also for off-cycle internships, I would keep an open mindset regarding pay (interns don't really contribute much to HFs or AMs imo to justify pay and I'm an intern myself. IB is a different story due to the nature of the work).

Good luck on your search
