Any views on Third Point's fundamental / public equities team? Do analysts here focus on a sector? Do they also work on event driven / activist stuff, or just pure tiger cub type L/S equity in their respective sectors?
Would appreciate intel on style, allocation of $13-15bn AUM to equities, role of analysts vs MD (I think that's what Dan calls the senior folks) -- ie do analysts manage sleeves and MDs have bigger books -- and comp. Thanks.
