Wrote some amazing short pieces-clear in depth look at accounting shenanigans at smaller firms-but I can't help but think that they have an ulterior motive (nothing sinister-but disclosing shorts always needs to be viewed with caution the same way insider selling is). Not denying their facts, but a lot of movements/volume occurs the day their shorts are published.
Also not saying they're doing anything illegal (they clearly disclose positions). But its always important to keep an objective mindset-and their posts focus a lot on poor management and little on the actual businesses (which are usually still poor).
