Asking hiring PM for lunch/drinks
Just had a final onsite interview with a hedge fund last week. Feedback on my case study was very positive, and I thought I nailed it. The thing that worries me is it’s been a week and I haven’t heard back (followed up with HR, last I heard they were still reaching out the PM. I really want this offer. Should I ask the PM whether they are still on the edge about me and if getting a drink/lunch would help?
You’ve done everything within your control, appearing “over eager” might hurt you. We just had a long summer weekend so give it another few days before following up with the team
