Biomedical Engineer breaking into finance (hedge fund)?

Hi! I'm currently a senior at a non-target university on the east coast studying Biomedical Engineering. I have done BME research internships at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, HHMI, and others. I'm currently a co-op at a medical lobbying firm in DC.

I am applying to various jobs and graduate schools, and I am considering breaking into the world of finance. Is this feasible, and what kind of opportunities would there be for Biomedical Engineers at hedge funds like TwoSigma?

N.B.: I'm not trying to be a BME at these companies. I want to apply my analytical skills but I am not sure if I am suited for Quant positions. I am also open to other positions, not just Quant! Thank you so much!
