Depends on what type of events you're interested in, but there aren't that many good options outside of distressed. There's a Wiley Finance Merger Arb good that's worth reading if you want to explore that area. Don't bother with the new "Event-Drive Edge in Investing" by Asif Suria, absolute waste of time unless you are a complete beginner. Imo "The Manual of Ideas" is one of the best investing books and I consider it a sequel to You can be a stock market genius. Technically only one chapter on actual events, but it talks of SOTP, equity stubs, magic formula, etc.
