Case study response?
I sent in a case study and interviewer said they would get back. Have heard nothing. I followed up a week ago too. Am I dinged—frustrating.

Unfortunately, this is very common. It is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful to the candidate. Do you have an HH for the process that you can ask? You were likely dinged since nobody would keep a candidate they're interested in waiting. Still, maybe they got busy, maybe their book blew up last week because they were upside/down, etc., and you might hear back later for those reasons... but it's more unlikely than the former scenario.
Being ghosted sucks, sorry to hear that. But don't get discouraged. Took me multiple tries to secure a seat. It rarely happens from the first attempt.
Get used to it. Create a standard template for yourself so you can get through them with less resistance.
