Solid backgrounds as you said, but I don't believe they've grown as quickly as similar vintage funds with like backgrounds (Carronade). See them pop up just every now and then in creditor groups, but more infrequent I feel and in small size. I'm not sure why we haven't seen more from them. Looks to be a core team there with some turnover around the edges over the last few years. Brought a guy over from Siguler Guff and was surprised to see that doesn't look like it worked out.
Thanks, super helpful. Anybody else have any insight? Seems like they have a hedge fund vehicle, but spend most of their time on the privates side. Perhaps that’s a function of the current market / where best risk reward lies.
Lots of turnover there relative to the size of the team. Other threads talk about their public book blowing up.
