Does anyone have any information on Citadel's Fundamental Strategies group which launched last year?
Seems like they invest across the capital structure and focus on risk arbitrage and catalyst-driven investing. It sounds like they may be more opportunistic than the typical Citadel long/short strategy and may not be run market neutral. For this group they've been hiring PMs who have worked at pretty impressive shops like Maverick and Third Point.
Any additional insight would be helpful.
