Citadel Interview FIG L/S Help

Hi everyone, i’m a first year banking analyst at a fig group and did the citadel modeling test and was invited to the next round. What can I Expect in those interviews? I have never done a stock pitch so any help would be really appreciated.

Good on passing the modeling test - that's the hardest part.

The next round will be stock pitches + more technical questions. They'll want a long and short idea, probably one being a FIG name, since that's your background.

For stock pitches:

  • Pick names you actually know, not random ideas
  • Have a clear catalyst and timeline
  • Know the downside case cold
  • Be ready to defend your thesis under pressure

They'll grill you on technicals too - bank modeling, credit analysis, regulatory stuff since you're FIG.
