CLO Structuring to HF
Hi all-
I am a few years out of college but looking to break into finance. I am talking to a CLO structuring desk at a BB. I have a personal relationship with someone on the desk so need to decide if I should pull out of interviewing or not before offer is made (if at all).
My goal is to work in public markets at a HF as an investment analyst. My personal experience is obviously with equities since it's easier, but I wanted to know if CLO structuring to HF is at all a reasonable path or not. To be clear, I am not interested in private credit. I couldn't really find LinkedIn people supporting this, which indicates it's not a good desk for my ultimate goal.
Can someone in industry confirm?
