Wondering if anyone has a list of good event driven/special sits funds. Interested in event beyond merger arb, like general special sits, spin offs/carveouts, activism, distressed. Do any firms give a broader experience in those areas?
Also is UMM/MF vanilla PE the best way in or is special sits buyside exp preferred?
