Know of some shops that shut down in event land. Are any event driven firms left in Europe (outside of hard catalysts)? Elliott, TCI to some degree. Any others?

What does activist in UK/EU look like? Does their legal framework support proxy fights like in the US?

What shops have shut down? You obviously have the pods, but outside of that there are some event shops like Melqart, Sand Grove, Trium, Syquant, Samson Rock etc. Just go through the 8.3 filings of a UK biz going through an event and you will find the European shops (mostly UK based)
