Family office interview

I have a final round interview for a family office of a well known investor next week. There is zero information online about them so kind of hard to do any due diligence. My question is… has anyone on this forum gone through a similar interview process or currently work for a family office ? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was in a similar situation, did the following:

1). Researched current and past employees via LinkedIn and google

2). Researched the family itself (how they made the money, charitable contributions to gauge their interests, etc).

3). Was coming out of undergrad and still had access to an S&P CapIQ account through my school. Used this to look up any and all SEC filings associated with the firm to look at past deals. Mine was for the real estate group and I was able to figure out who the manager was and what properties they were listed on, which impressed them in the interview when I asked them specific questions about old deals/current holdings.

Thanks for the reply, I will do what you listed. Definitely helpful as the portfolio is comprised of some RE holdings from what I understand.

This is a long shot.... but any idea on how to get spun up on art valuation in preparation for the interview?
