Hedge Fund Operations Internship

Hey guys. This is my second time posting after many months of lurking. I am in need of advice as to what my options are at this point. I am from a non-target currently interning at BlueMountain Capital Management in the Operations department. They do not have a structured internship program, so an offer is not always promised. I am going to be a senior and am striving for a full time offer by the time I graduate. Does anyone know how I can leverage an internship like this? Will this mean that I am strictly limited to Operations positions? Thanks.
